Our next meeting is Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 6:00pm in the lower level conference room of the Hooper Building (36 Broad Street, Oshkosh). We will be watching Video on Protocol. "A combination of drugs recommended for depression and attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder is being widely promoted as a "treatment" for Down syndrome. There is no scientific support for the routine use of this protocol for people who have Down syndrome. It is important that families and healthcare professionals are aware of the lack of evidence for safety and benefits from use of this protocol." DOWN to Earth is not endorsing this program, only providing information. Please contact Sharon ASAP firstname.lastname@example.org if you need childcare provided for this meeting.
Down to Earth
Our goal is to build awareness, sustain a network of support and provide information for families with children who are "differently-abled" in the Oshkosh and surrounding areas.
